All of these offerings draw upon and emphasise the importance of cultural connection for healing and rehabilitation. Jeffs’ own life was transformed by a cultural-based rehabilitation program, and he now advocates for this approach as a means to help Indigenous people and reduce incarceration rates. This work has been recognised with a community award on Australia Day 2023.
