Jeff is a proud Wiradjuri man and a father of three beautiful children. He grew up in Wellington, NSW, and now resides on Darkinjung Country.

His journey has ignited his passion to help others overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol and enhance their mental health. Having travelled over 500,000km across Australia (mostly in NSW), teaching and collaborating with communities, Jeff has assisted individuals in addressing their addiction issues. He has also emphasised the significance of cultural education for children, aiming to prevent addiction issues from affecting families and communities.

Through his efforts, Jeff has forged strong partnerships that enable him to offer expert insights on best practices in rehabilitation programmes. This is based on his own experiences and his ability to foster genuine engagement between Aboriginal communities, State, and Federal Governments in a culturally appropriate manner.

He has achieved tangible outcomes in the community, such as improved rates of student retention in schools, positive behavioural changes, and increased support for families and communities. Jeff attributes his success to sharing his story and real-life experiences rather than relying on textbooks.
